The CountryHouse memory care residence team
The heart of what we do really shines through in our people. Our CountryHouse team members understand the difference between giving care and caring, and infuse that philosophy into everything they do … truly treating our residents like beloved family members.
Each member of our team is expertly trained in best-practices dementia care. But their natural empathy is what allows us to provide the best, most customized care possible. At CountryHouse, our team learns each resident’s story — their likes, their dislikes, their values and their past — so we can make meaningful connections with each resident we serve. In order to provide this level of personalized care, we offer a higher staff-to-resident ratio than most communities.
Meet our Executive Director – Michelle Broman

She began her career in business administration before making a career switch to nursing in 2005, starting first as a CNA, working in home health, long term care and hospice care. She’s also spent time as an Oncology Nurse, a Clinical Research Nurse, and an Oncology Nurse Navigator.
She holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Nebraska Medical Center, a Master of Nursing Administration from Nebraska Wesleyan University and has served as an Adjunct instructor for nursing at Union College, a clinic educator and a Director of Clinical Education in Senior Health Care.
Michelle says, “I joined Agemark because of our culture and values. From the moment I interviewed through each step along the way I have been welcomed and supported. Leadership and staff are warm and welcoming, genuinely treating each other, our residents and guests as family, which is what Agemark and CountryHouse are all about.”
Michelle and her husband, Ken, are longtime Lincoln residents and have three children: Mickenna, an RN; Kassandra, a college senior; and Gabe, a high school junior.
