The CountryHouse memory care residence team
Our amazing and dedicated team members are what make CountryHouse a home. They understand the important difference between caring and giving care, and they hold true to our philosophy of treating people as beloved family. Our team members are carefully selected for their natural empathy and are rigorously trained in the latest dementia care practices. To ensure the highest level of care possible, we provide a higher staff-to-resident ratio than normally found in assisted living and memory care.
Tessa Johnson, MSN, BSN, RN served as the Wellness Coordinator for CountryHouse before she was promoted to serve as Director of CountryHouse in July 2018. A certified dementia care practitioner, Tessa brings more than twelve years of experience in nursing, long term care, hospice care and health care management to the leadership team.
She’s served as President of the North Dakota Nurses Association and President Elect of the North Dakota Center for Nursing, and is an active member of the local Eagles Club Auxiliary. According to Tessa, “I believe we only have one life to live, so it’s important to do your work with passion every day. I’m committed to treating all of our residents like they’re family, and to creating moments of joy for them every day.”
Born and raised in Dickinson, Tessa and her husband stay busy raising their two children.
